Silverton Mountain

Silverton Mountain is located approximately 342 miles from Denver, in the southwest corner of Colorado. The ski area is 6 miles north of the town of Silverton, and is one of six Colorado ski resorts in the beautiful San Juan Mountain Range.

At Silverton you will find amazing, untouched, powder in every direction and one chairlift that will give you access to it all. The average snowfall here of 400” annually, exceeds the number of visitors it has daily. The mountain offers heli-skiing, guided skiing, unguided skiing and private guides but all require reservations.

There are no groomed runs or trails and no crowds here but this epic mountain is not for the faint of heart. All 1,819 acres of it’s terrain are classified as advanced or expert only and you must wear avalanche gear at all times to ride the lift.
