Powderhorn

Powderhorn Resort is located approximately 233 miles from Denver, in Grand Mesa National Forest, and about 40 miles east of Grand Junction.

The location and terrain of Powderhorn are unique to other Colorado ski resorts because it sits on the side of Colorado’s largest flat top (mesa) mountain, the Grand Mesa. This special location gives visitors amazing panoramic views, that extend for miles, over the high desert to the south.

The ski area offers 63 marked trails, on 1,600 acres, accessible by 5 lifts. While Powderhorn does not have much vertical rise (1,650’), it makes up for it with a charming old west feel, quality terrain parts and a focus on families.
