Beaver Creek

Beaver Creek is located approximately 106 miles from Denver, in Eagle County, near the city of Avon. The resort is owned by Vail Resorts, which also manages 3 other Colorado ski resorts (see Vail, Breckenridge and Keystone).

Opened in 1980 under a special use permit to the White River National Forest, Beaver Creek is home to the annual Bird's of Prey Men's World Cup, making it the only stop in the United States for the men's World Cup ski circuit.

The ski area now offers over 1,832 ski-able acres and has 149 marked trails serviced by 25 lifts. With plenty of terrain manicured for every ability, upscale accommodation and a family friendly environment, Beaver Creek a popular destination everyone.
