Aspen Mountain

Aspen Mountain (also known as Ajax) is located approximately 200 miles from Denver, in Pitkin County. It is the third largest, of four Aspen, Colorado ski resorts. (See Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk and Snowmass).

Opened in 1947, Aspen Mountain is know for it's epic in-bound, black diamond terrain, bumps, steeps and glades. If you're into fresh powder, check out Aspen Mountain Powder Tours, which give you access to boundless, untracked, powder on the backside of the mountain via Snow-cat.
